Ilona’s Wellness Walking Tours are relaxed walks or gentle hikes in the Wicklow or Dublin area including time for chats about healthy eating and lifestyle – for about 2-4 hours.

Who are they for?

Anybody who wants to get (back) into hillwalking, but isn’t quite ready yet to go on their own or join a club with very experienced hikers.

Anybody who wants to experience health, and use this time out in nature not just to enjoy the day, but also pick up habits that will last.

Anybody who is interested in being out in nature, in Wicklow.

Anybody who loves food and wants to learn more about healthy eating and locally sourced food producers.

Ilona is not only a qualified Tourguide and Hiking guide (Lowland Leader), but is also a qualified and practising Nutritional Therapist who passionately believes in the power of food for our overall wellbeing and health. During these informal walks, you can ask Ilona all questions nutrition- and health-related that you’ve always been meaning to ask!

Ilona has realised that most people are holding back from committing to a nutrition programme because they feel they need to change “everything”. Her belief is that lots of small changes over a longer period of time lead to more sustainable new habits.

The goal of her Wellness Walks is to create a relaxed atmosphere during which she can share her knowledge and where everyone can take on as much or as little as they like or whatever they are ready for at this moment and time.

During the tours, you will also learn lots about traditional Irish food habits and stories, and about the areas, you are visiting.
