No, the event is designed for people who would like to try out hillwalking or have considered joining a hiking group, but just don’t feel ready of it yet.
Do I need to be very fit to join?
There is a steep incline and downhill, but with normal fitness level, it should be doable. However, if you have any heart or other health condition, or an injury, please contact the organiser or check with your GP.
What should I do if I don’t have hiking boots?
Hiking boots are always recommended as they offer ankle support. If it is something you might like to do in future, I recommend getting some. However, at the same time, it is not advisable to walk in completely new shoes. If you have other shoes that a non-slip and offer support, that’s ok.

Yes, there are plenty of car parking spaces. Usually, there is a charge of €3 per car, but you will receive a code to get free parking.
